Dr. Brent Walter
Victoria Veterinary Clinic
628 Victoria Ave.
Regina, Saskatchewan
ph. 306-522-8802

Recommended by: Tamara Munoz  tamara_m@accesscomm.ca
Date of recommendation: September 2004
Number of your rats that have been treated here: 4
The length of time you've seen this vet: 4 years (not positive exactly how long)
What your rats were treated for: Respiratory problems & had to have one rattie boy put to sleep
Comments: Dr. Walter is extremely good with rats. Not the most knowledgeable but has a good base as roommate in vet school kept rats so he seems to like them and he seems willing to learn. There is an actual exotic vet in Regina but I would really not recommend that vet office in general as they are generally not very sympathetic about anything and tend to make fun of patients who treat their pets like treasured members of the family (a member of my family worked there and heard this). Vic Vet clinic sent me a sympathy card after putting my boy to sleep and they called to see how my girls were doing after being put on meds for respiratory issues.
