"We got them when they were little, little. We were told that there were rats needing homes so we said we take them (because I've wanted rats for so long, i luv rodents!!!). I was so excited to get them, it was like time just dragged on untill I got them! We built a shelf-like cage for them after seeing the Grotto page. Finally it was the week that they were old enough to take home! We phoned the people to see when we could pick up the rats. They said they weren't gettting any calls for the other two so we decided that if now one else wanted them by the end of the week we would take all for. There really was no point in taking only two if the other two weren't gettting homes. 

We couldn't tell the difference between them because their colours were more or less the same except for Cobalt because he was darker and all one colour. Figaro was the next one that we were able to tell because he had a white belly and his front paws had thick, solid white gloves. Shade had one white front glove with a line of white on his belly and Toby just has a bit of white on his actual paws but not like gloves.

They are so amazing were all really glad we got them. They're funny to watch. They're really great pets, they're so smart and social, they sit on our shoulders and hide in our shirts. I even bring one on my shoulder to the mail box. They're awesome!
