Dempsey & Nibbles
These two ratties live with Gardavia in Vancouver, BC.
"The lilac is Dempsey, the beige (fawn?) is Nibbles. Dempsey and Nibbles are both babies from HomeFinders in New Westminster, BC. Their mum was a rescue that luckily found a home with Willow and her rattie family! They both are extremely friendly and well socialized. Nibbles is aptly named because he enjoys chewing anything he can get his little teeth into. Dempsey is the less dominant of the two and has picked up the habit of squeaking loudly if something doesn't go his way. They are going to be my clicker training projects...I'm sure they'll pick up anything I teach them quickly! They both pretty much run the house, along with their older, fatter, roommate Quince. They eat better than I do and are fawned over by anyone who visits. These little guys even converted my boyfriend's mother (who grew up in Alberta and had a deathly stigma against rats)...within a couple of days she was petting them and giving them treats just like everyone else!"
