Nigel, Miles, Tucker & Neil
Gina in Philadelphia, PA, USA was adopted by these four cuties

Nigel was one in a million. He was my very first rat. I obtained him from a pet shop when he was still a pup in September of 2001. He grew into a wonderfully fat and squishy Silvered Black Berkshire with personality to spare. He was always content to sit on my shoulder or lay all the way back while I scratched his back. Nigel died suddenly but peacefully on his first birthday. I miss him dearly, but he left his paw print on the hearts of all that knew him. |

Miles is a wonderfully fat agouti hooded boy that I obtained from a petshop Christmas of 2001 to be a companion for my rat at the time, Nigel (silvered blak berkshire). He was initially very sick, and was put on medication. He has turned out to be a lovely guy. He get's a bit nervous when you pick him up, but once he is settled in your arms, he loves scritches and kisses. He is an expert eye boggler, too! |

Tucker was obtained from ZiggaBella's rattery (ziggabella.com) in June of 2002. He is a sweet blue dumbo rex berkshire. He is the most docile of the three that I have currently, and he is a very gentle little fellow. He enjoys being held and scritched, and is an expert rodentist. He takes food very gently, and he is my little midget, as he is the smallest (but certainly not SMALL) of the three of my guys. |

Neil (named after my favourite musician, Neil Young) was obtained from a pet shop shortly after Nigel passed over the Rainbow Bridge in September of 2002. He was no older than four weeks of age, but he fared much better with me than as possible snake food. He is a Beige Berkshire, with really soft fur for a male rat. He is somewhat standoffish, but when given scratches behind his ear, he melts like butter! |
