Xanna, Bokeh, Anuk, Salem & Orlana Groom
These five rats live with Trisha in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Girls: Xanna
(beige banded), Bokeh (black hooded), and Anuk (agouti hooded)
"Xanna (beige banded doe) is an extremly playful girl! She playfully attacks anything she can reach through the cage bars. She can often be seen playfully pouncing on the other rats while they're unsuspectingly grooming, eating, or using the litter box. She's a very sweet, silly girl.
Bokeh (black hooded doe) is the baby out of the girls. When I first brought her home, Anuk mothered her like crazy. Sometimes she still seems to think of Anuk as a motherly figure. She's a really sweet, friendly girl and often grooms fingers through the cage bars. She has also always been mature for her age.
Anuk (agouti hooded doe) is the alpha female. She does a good job of keeping the other ratties in line (without hurting them of course). She likes people the most out of all my rats. Sometimes I wonder if she thinks she's human. She has a great personality.

Boy: Salem (black berkshire)
Salem (black berkshire buck) is a very sweet, friendly little boy, but also a very bad baaad rat! He's always getting into something. However, he's always forgiven without hesitation because he's still a young ratlet. He will be joining the girls in their four-level rat palace once he is neutered (very soon)." <:3 )~
Orlana Groom (beige berkshire dumbo doe) was named for her elf-like ears. The first moment I saw her, I was reminded of an elf from Lord Of The Rings- the one played by Orlando Bloom. So I changed Orlando to Orlana (to make it more feminine). First it was simply Orlana, then after taking some photos of her and calling one "orlanagroom1" (because she was grooming herself in the photo), it hit me. Orlana Groom! I was very lucky to receive Orlana. I had called a petstore reccomended to me by a Winnipeg rat breeder because they often carried dumbos, and they told me that they'd request a dumbo girl in the next shipment and give me a call when she came in. Well they never called me, so I called them and they told me that they got their shipment of rats, but there was no dumbos. I was very disappointed but decided to go there for a looksie anyway (to see what they did have). When I got there, I was very surprised to see my dumbo girl in the feeder bin (the only dumbo) mixed in with males, ready to be sold as snake food! They apologized and said that they had overlooked her and thought they hadn't gotten any dumbos in. As you can guess, I was furious. What if I hadn't gone there anyway and she was sold as snake food? *shiver* Poor girl, almost ordered in to only be sold as snake food because of a petstore's careless mistake. Well that's her story, and in terms of her personality, I don't know quite yet for sure (just got her today) but she seems like a total sweetie so far, and isn't the slightest bit shy! :D
